PMWS2 – 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM<\/p>\n

Natural Products Research and Teaching at Primarily Undergraduate Institutions<\/strong><\/p>\n

This workshop will provide a forum for natural product researchers to share best practices related to research, teaching, and program development at primarily undergraduate institutions (PUIs). Rather than emphasizing scientific results, the workshop will focus on the practical mechanics of conducting meaningful research, securing funding, and integrating natural products into the curriculum at PUIs. The workshop will feature short presentations and guided discussions with a goal to foster community building, mentorship, and the exchange of actionable ideas tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities at PUIs.<\/p>\n

This workshop is open to anyone with interest in learning more about natural product work at PUIs such as current faculty, post-doctoral researchers and graduate students with interest in positions at PUIs, research-focused faculty willing to mentor or collaborate with undergraduate labs, and anyone else interested in the work happening with undergraduates.<\/p>\n

This workshop will be accepting abstracts – Please submit via the abstract submission form and choose the PUI Workshop option.<\/p>\n
