Mentoring Towards a Culture of Inclusivity

Arguably the most important factor that determines success and persistence in science is quality of mentorship, and mentorship is particularly important for individuals from routinely marginalized groups. As part of our ongoing efforts to promote diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in the natural product sciences, the DEI committee of the ASP offers this mentorship workshop.  Join us for lunch, presentations, and conversation with our presenters Dr. Shanina Sanders-Johnson and Dr. Marvella Ford.  Dr. 's Sanders-Johnson and Ford will share with us their research findings and personal experiences as they relate to mentorship of students and faculty.  There will be ample opportunity for Q&A, so bring your questions and come ready to learn and share.

We are very grateful to Procter and Gamble for their generous sponsorship of this event.
